Strong opposites do have a little of each other...

Years ago this country was fight for world recognition and now it's adopting a new linguistic culture: "Runglish".  It was invented in the year 2000 and only used in the International Space Station. It was useful for them, since all crew members spoke English of Russian.
Runglish is used in Russia and among Russian communities in the USA. For some people, this dialect is to be erased from history. The Russian government declared in 2007 the official "Year of the Russian Language".
It's good to see that globalisation of English is spreading not as an homogeneous culture but as a multicultural language... adapting several forms according the traditions.

Differences between English and Runglish:

Russian words are mixed in the setences.

Some unusual synonyms may be used (i.e. oncrete instead of particular, dinner instead of lunch, house instead of building, go in for sport instead of do sport, forget something at home instead of leave something at home etc (this example was directly took from runglish1.narod.ru)

There isn't the distinction between the "a", "the" and words that don't need an article (like "going to buy rice")

Simple tenses are often used instead of Continuous and Perfect forms

Different prepositions may be used (during instead of for, at or in, with the help of instead of by means of, in instead of at or on etc).

Just like Chinglish or any other form of language derivated from English, this new dialect mixes part of the English and the Russian language, but with some grammar and pronunciation differences. You can see some examples with the links below...
