Esperanto
Esperanto was created in 1887 by Dr. Ludovic Lazarus. On the 18th of October of the same year, it was published the first book wrote in Esperanto and there were 16 grammatical rules, some vocabulary and some exercises. He created this language with the objective of creating a neutral, easy to learn language and to unify de world under one language.
In 1905 there was the first world congress of Esperanto speakers in France more exactly in Boulogne-sur-Mer, and after one year the first group of Esperanto supporters appeared in Rio de Janeiro.
During the Second World War the people that spoke this language were chased down and killed, mainly in the Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, and in the Soviet Union, but in Germany there were more motives to chase Dr Ludovic since he was Jewish
Esperanto as never been recognized as a second language, but there were plans for forming a Esperanto´s state called Qian Xuantong in China and the U.S.A Army published a book with phrases for war games in Esperanto.
As Esperanto is a constructed language it is not linked to any culture or ethnic language, it has a alphabet of 28 letters (a b c ĉ d e f g ĝ h ĥ I j ĵ k l m n o p r s ŝ t u ŭ v z
) .
Nowadays there might be between 10 thousand to 2 million fluent speakers of Esperanto

ReplyDeleteFor me, the idea of create a global language wasn't good. Esperanto has no people, no culture and therefore no personality. However, I think that this language has future because it is in expansion.
