Spanglish

                                              Spanglish

Spanglish  is the name of a dialect so it is not an official language. It is mainly used in the U.S.A by the Hispanic immigrants. The name is a mixture between Spanish and English. There are different types of spanglish, Chicano, Cuban, Puerto Rican and Dominican.
         The term Spanglish was invented by Salvador Tió, it appeared for the first time in a column of a newspaper called EL Diário de Puerto Rico on the 28th of October of 1949.
        Spanglish is mainly used in some U.S.A states like:   -Florida; Georgia; Texas; California and New York, but is also used in Puerto Rico, in some zones of Mexico, in Panama and we can sometimes hear it in Gibraltar.
